What is an RSS Feed?

RSS (or Really Simple Syndication) feeds are free content feeds from news sources, blogs and other Web sites, including CeibaRealty.com, that contain article headlines, summaries and links back to full-text articles on the web.

A Feed Reader or RSS Reader allows you to sign up for and receive RSS feeds, collecting all the headlines and summaries (and real estate listings!) in one place so that you don't have to hunt around to see what's new.  Once you have set up your RSS Reader, you simply subscribe to any RSS feeds you want.

There are many different RSS readers available, many of which are free of charge. Most are available as desktop software that you download and install on your computer. Several Web-based RSS readers are also available that require no installation.  Yahoo and AOL users users can now add RSS feeds directly to their personal page.  Here is a List of RSS readers collected by Yahoo.

Instead of visiting CeibaRealty.com to browse for new listings, RSS automatically tells you when something new has appeared.  CeibaRealty.com currently uses RSS Version 2.0.
